Awesome Mission Monday on Clearwater Beach!

We were blessed with another spectacular Mission Monday outing today, as the St.Pierre’s hit Pier 60 and Clearwater Beach, FL. God delivered fantastic Florida weather, perfect for the girls to play in the Gulf water, and for yours truly to get some hits with the Fearsome Foursome!

You already know I love the beach. Also beach vball ranks at the top of my list of summer sports. Actually in FL, we play year round praise God!!!

So today we planned on passing out tracts, CD’s and 50’s, but I left our goodies box at home so…. We did pray and sangs songs of worship, but no tracts this week… :(

Still we got a few nice snap shots that depict the morning pretty well, enjoy!!!

Day off – In the Backyard

The Lord blessed me today with a Saturday off, one of very few I get to enjoy being a wedding photographer and all… So today, I took the Nikon’s out in the backyard and captured candids of my daughters Grace, Trinity and Faith instead of brides and grooms.

From tree lice, that’s really well intended parasites out to clean out our giant oak tree, to bugs I’d rather not try to identify, let’s just call the gross bug Roger for old times sake, then a yellow stone standing out like a soar thumb in our rock garden, there’s so much to shoot in the yard it’s amazing!

Trinity got upset, Grace floated beautifully from the tree swing and faith made dump truck soup. Another day, another serious of gorgeous shots for Elizabeth and I to remember how God truly loves us, and how His favor is among us, sinners undeserving of such joy yet grateful for each moment spent together.

Mission Monday @ Weedon Island Preserve

Another Monday means another short term mission trip with the girls, however today it was only Grace, Trinity, Faith and I out to glorify God and advance His gospel to the four corners of the earth. Today, our corner of the world was the Weedon Island Preserve in St Petersburg, FL.

While Elizabeth partook in decorating for next week’s Vacation Bible School at church, the girls and I had a most wonderful time exploring and discovering the preserve.

This week we planted some tracts and CDs in hope they would be found by seekers, looking for an answer to their prayer. We praise God for His will in our lives and for witnessing opportunities such as this one, I have so thoroughly enjoyed Weedon Island over the years.

Mission Monday at Clearwater Beach, FL

We were blessed today with another mission short trip to a local favorite spot, Clearwater Beach, the very beach where Elizabeth and I were married back in December, 2003.

CD I am Found by Craig Thompson Today instead of passing out Christian tracts as part of our God given mission, we brought Graig Thompson’s CD single, “I Am Found.”

Since the CD insert contained awe inspiring content, it made perfect sense to replace our homemade tracts with the beautifully designed CD, a certain hit among those who will be blessed to give it a listen after a long day at the beach.

We are immensely grateful to almighty God for His outpouring of blessings in our lives and for His will which allows for such incredible outings, and the mission field He has entrusted my family and I with… the beach! How great is our God?

Mission Monday @ Tampa’s MOSI

With temperatures nearing 100°F today, we opted to take our weekly short mission trip to MOSI, in Tampa instead of treking out to Disney World where we typically like to do God’s work as a family.

The decision to stay local was indeed blessed by the Lord when we realized the load on highway I-75…

MOSI is a better choice on hot summer days since it’s indoors and conveniently air conditioned. Plus since we have annual VIP passes, which are also a blessing from God and His will for our family, the girls get to go on any ride they wish. It’s funny how in spite of the VIP access we have the girls’ favorite place to play turns out to be the “Farm” area where they get to pretend they’re harvesting and grocery shopping for produce, taking after their shopping savvy mom Elizabeth whose tips continue to be a blessing to countless moms worldwide.

If you find yourself debating over a thrilling place for the kids to play as you engage with parents and pass out tracts, MOSI should be near the top of your list, specially during blistering hot Florida summers.
